Melbourne Wedding Music
I started playing harp in Australia 14 years ago and have been a wedding entertainer at many weddings, as well as performing at lots of functions, concerts and folk festivals. I have also been featured on various CDs.
Much of my music is inspired by traditional Irish music, which I studied in Australia and Ireland.
When I lived in the Northern Rivers, I was the main wedding harpist in the area. I also performed for other events such as birthday parties, concerts and presentation nights for the Ballina Chamber of Commerce.
I taught harp at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium and have a degree in music composition from Southern Cross University. I have also taught many harp-playing groups and organised harp-making workshops.
Past projects include composing and recording music for plays, radio and television documentaries, and a 20 minute piece for a dance group.
Now living in Melbourne, I perform at weddings, special occasions and various events. I am also pursuing therapeutic music as a performer, composer and recording artist.
