Local harp player, Susan Graham, has invited Geoff Welham (a harp maker from Copmanhurst), to teach a harp-making workshop in Byron Bay this month. 

Eight lucky people will have the chance to make their own Celtic harp.

The harps have 26 strings and are a hybrid between a Celtic and Paraguayan harp, which gives the it a strong, rich sound.  The total cost for the workshop and materials is $425 each.

Susan, who teaches harp at the Conservatorium, will also offer harp lessons at the workshop. “This is a great opportunity for people to learn instrument making skills, as well as having an angelic harp to take home,” she said. Melbourne Wedding Entertainment
