Baby Shower

If you're planning a baby shower, you can make it really special by having me come and play harp for you. I can provide beautiful, live background music while your guests arrive, catch up or sit down to a meal together.

What Is A Baby Shower?
A baby shower is a fun-filled party organised by a friend for expectant parents or the mum-to-be.  The occasion usually takes place before or sometimes shortly after the birth.  Until recently it was only organised for the first–born, but nowadays people hold them for all births.

Gifts
Like the bridal shower, the expectant or new parents are ‘showered’ with gifts.  Traditionally these gifts are things like baby clothes and other useful items. 

Baby Shower Games
The party usually has everyone playing games at some stage.  I can continue playing harp until then, creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

Personalised CD
A harp CD makes a great memento.  I can personalise it by putting a photo of the expectant parents or the baby on the CD.  From my own experience, babies just love harp music and are very much soothed by it.
